Founded in 1927 in Cantù, in the heart of Lombardy, TABU is an Italian excellence in wood dyeing, present in more than 60 countries. The company produces natural dyed and multilaminar veneers, also offering inlays, three-dimensional surfaces and wood flooring with noble layer dyed in thickness.
TABU is the only manufacturer in the world to offer natural dyed and multilaminar veneers made in Italy, guaranteeing wood from certified forests.
The company promotes intensive educational activities with lectures, meetings and the Ideas4wood contest for young designers, spreading the culture of wood as a noble and renewable material.
Committed to sustainability, TABU has installed one of the largest photovoltaic systems in Lombardy and adopts advanced solutions for water purification and air emission purification. Since 2003, it has been following FSC® standards for responsible wood procurement. It is also PEFC certified.
